David, this one's for you

Our group member, Mark needs our messages of support.

His 7 year old son David, is due for open heart surgery today. I'm sure Mark and his family could use some comforting in this trying time, so let's all try to leave them a message of support on the blog.

I've had the pleasure of communicating with Mark on several occasions and
would like to take this opportunity to offer my heart felt best wishes for the success of young David's operation.

David, my prayers are with you. For Mark and his family, I'm sure things will go well and young David will come out of this like a champ.

David, This one's for you.

Hey David, although I do not know you, I was given a message from your friend Andrew, so that now makes us friends :-) I know you are going through a tough time right now, but God is watching over you. If you truly believe that, everything will work out. You are in my thoughts and prayers, and I hope that God works his magic in you, and I am confident he will. You are a special person, and you will get through this.

I also want to pray for your parents. Just trust in God and everything will be fine.

I look forward to the great news regarding a fast recovery.

God Bless!

Hi Mark

Our prayers and blessings go out to you as well. We just went through a trying time with our first granddaughter. She had extensive surgery at 6 weeks old for a internal tumor that was impinging on her pelvis. The Lord was faithful
and she is now cancer free, even though the mass was malignant. Just turned 5 months old. :)

These things really bring the important things of life into perspective. Please believe that all of these things happen for a reason. All of our best goes out to David and your family.

Peace

Denny

Hello guys,

This is Mark, David's dad. It's amazing how God can give you peace and confidence, even in the midst of such times as this, when you know many people have been praying for your child. It was a long 8 hour wait on Tuesday, but the surgery was a success. David is recovering quickly, and they already removed all of the wires and tubes (went "wireless" as nurses joke). We hope he could go home early next week. And doctors say he could start skiing again in February! :-)

Thank you all for all your prayers and support, we are forever grateful!

Mark & family.

Hey Mark,

Fantastic news, now you can get on with having a brilliant Xmas and getting "Franz Klammer" back on the slopes and on his way to being a ski demon once again.

Good on you David, won't be long till your ripping up those slopes again.

All the very best,

Hugh n Skye :)
