My Thoughts for the Future or Why You Won't find any Affiliate Links Here

Brute Force has launched to hugely positive feed-back from users. Yes, the software has some bugs which need fixing, yes there are some issues for some users.

Pete and his support team are working flat out to fix all these and I have no doubt all will soon be resolved.

The sheer number of users who signed up must be taking a toll on the system I feel. The software is solid and I'm 100% sure Pete will iron out all the wrinkles.

Not an unusual turn of events. How long has Windows been around as an operating system and how may bugs does that still have ?

Brute Force is good. Enough said on that one.

You might have noticed that this blog is now minus any affiliate links to Brute Force. The reason is simple. I won't be presenting anymore affiliate links to the product.

Why ???

Simple answer
. The way the affiliate program is setup is that affiliate links only start to work after the 7 day trial is up. Once the trial is up, affiliate links will work for those spots not already filled. If any of the original 1000 spots are still vacant or any of the original 1000 users drops out, affiliate links kick in for those vacant spots.

Anybody who did try to use my affiliate links, many thanks, but your purchase went into the general system. Rest assured though, I'm still around.

I've decided to remove my affiliate links as:
  1. I can make more money using the Brute than promoting it
  2. I don't really feel like getting into a scrap over scraps
So how can I help ?

My commitment to offering as much assistance as possible to my subscribers is ongoing. I won't be changing that.

I'm delaying the launch of Shotgun Marketing. Simple reason. Better to address general questions people have about affiliate marketing using Web 2.0 properties and RSS (aka Brute Force). Get to know the product, get a bit more familiar with what you'll be doing - then we can move on to the advanced Shotgun Ma
rketing tactics.

I will be releasing Shotgun Marketing, hopefully by the end of October - beginning November, but this will be a stand-alone product and not part of any bonus offers. Not a prerequisite to being on my subscriber list. Get it or not, all the help I can offer will be open to all.

I will also be increasing the size of the marketing Group to include ALL subscribers to my Brute Force related lis
ts.

It's as easy to send 5 emails as it is to send 1 and as easy to send 10 as it is to send 5.

There might be some of you who prefer not to be on this bigger list. If this is the case, please feel free to use the "unsubscribe" link in the next issue of the newsletter.

Many Thanks

Personally I think it sucks that persons like you Andrew who worked hard a pre-promotion won't benefit on your sign ups.

If I'm understanding you correctly because I was one of the first 1000 you would not get a commission?

If i signed up after the 7days or after the initial 1000 you would?

Crazy way to run an affiliate program if you ask me on Petes part but anyway..this was not meant to be about that as you make it clear it's not about your affil earnings anyway.

I think it's great you've decided to continue helping out and removed your affil commission.

To me that speaks highly of you and of the software because you are making money by USING BF and not just promoting it like all the others who are now jumping on the train.

Personally I've not had any results worth speaking of using BF but I'm going to fire it up today after taking a couple days away from the PC after becoming frustrated.

If the next two days don't show me that BF will be effective for me then I'll be hitting the cancel button soon.

I'm far from new to IM and with your help and post I've learned much so I'm not sure based on my research I'm not having good results.

Either way I'll follow your progress as well as your own info product releases.

Thanks for all you do and reaching out to others Andrew.

Many thanks for the kind words. regardless of how the affiliate system is setup, I believe the Brute is a quality product.

The affiliate system is setup to kick in after the initial trial period is over.

Any spots left will go the affiliates for their promotion.

The problem with that model is twofold:

1. I've said this before but I'll say it again, I don't really fancy getting into a big marketing "duel" over the remaining spots.

2. There is no way of knowing what the market will be - that is to say how many spots will the affiliates be gunning for. 1, 2, 100, zero ???

I'd rather spend the time fine-tuning the plans for the group and get down to actually helping the group members, than marketing the remaining spots.

Sometimes it's about more than affiliate commissions. Sometimes it has to be about just getting the word out if you're sincere about wanting to help people out.

Yes, the Brute has some teething problems, but I believe Pete will sort these out. It's obvious he's spent a great deal of time and money on developing the Brute, so it's in his best interests to have it all plain sailing.

I made a commitment to helping people profit from the Web 2.0 environment the Brute takes advantage of, so affiliate commission or not, that commitment has been made.

You should have received the latest issue of the newsletter, where I explain more about my reasoning and future plans.

Let me know if there's anything else I can help with.

Thanks

Hey Andrew,

Enjoyed the newsletter, the free software link looks like a good resource.

Many thanks for all you help, especially so when you haven't received any remuneration as a result of the affiliate setup at BFSEO.

I know your not complaining at all about that and its great to see your still fully supporting Pete, the software and us.

Thanks Again,

Hugh.

Hi Andrew, it's really refreshing you're not going to become another "guru". I remember you said you never would. :-) That's good!

Mark

P.S. I came across an interesting post today, about IM and "gurus":

Hey Andrew
I am in the same boat as most persons who have tried this BF. I have had no success as yet and it pisses me off too that you may not benefit from me signing up through your linh because you deserve it so much.

I am still going to push BF until me trial period ends this weekend, if still I see no success, I am sorry Andrew, but I may hav to cancel my subscription, it's not your fault so do not feel bad..ok

I will still be on your list and reading this blog.

I am also looking forward to your product end of month, I hope I get to buy a copy or win a copy or be given one..lol :)

So one again continue to do the good work and if I can help you in anything let me know..

Many thanks to all who left comments.

As I mention in the blog post, I see more benefits from using Brute Force than promoting it, so it's a no-brainer really.

The Brute is a powerful application to use in your IM.

Some users have had problems with the software, others haven't. Not much consolation to those who did come up against difficulties, but I'm sure Pete and the support team will sort these out. It's too good an application to have even minor wrinkles.

I'm here for the long run and open to giving as much help as I can.

We can all contribute to each others success.

Hi Andrew, it's a shame the way that Peter has structured his affiliate program.

There's going to be a few upset people over that! Add to that the fact that BF has a few issues and I think there'll be more cancellations than Peter was expecting. I'm just doing my first run of BF and of course it's stuck on MSN blogs and will need restarting.

I was considering trying SENuke however I realise that Peter has a good product and will sort the bugs out eventually. So with BF and your marketing group things will still turn out alright!

Thanks for the free software link and thanks for everything you're doing!

Regards, Gordon

Hi Andrew, like those above I'm sorry that your not getting the benefit of my subscription to BF via your link. I actually cancelled my initial BF trial and re-subscribed via your link after finding your site from the BF promotional sales page. Bit ironic really!!

I still look forward to buying your guide as it seems to me your "walking the walk" with this and we can only benefit from your experience and help. I hope "we" can make your efforts to help us worthwhile for you, considering the effort you put into this.

In the meantime I'm going to re-watch your videos and see how I can best utilise BF until your guide is ready.

Thanks Andrew,

Colin

Many thanks to all.

Mark - we've been over this before - I look terrible in robes and don't have ant sandals so the "Guru" bit is out. Way to over-abused term anyway.

Prefer to think of myself as a member of this group.

We can all contribute and at the end of the day, all benefit.

It's not as difficult as some people like to make out and it HAS to be more than just herding traffic together and giving them a hard sell.

Your customers are living, breathing human beings. Treat them like a simple statistic and you might make some quick sales, but you'll have to keep re-building your business.

Treat your customers with respect and you've got yourselves a viable, ongoing business.

Search engine robots don't have credit cards.

I echo most of the thoughts above, and am still getting my feet wet with the BF-SEO. I am glad I found this group and hope I can contribute as well. Thanks again Andrew.

P.S. I am working on getting a video of my slide playing and really appreciate your offer of help.

Hi Andrew:

Thanks for all your efforts. I too feel there's more to be gained by using the Brute than by promoting it. I have used it a couple times and ran into difficulties with it.

I am glad that you've set up this forum so that we can help each other.

One question I have for you is, did you have any problems pulling up previous projects you created on the Brute? If yes how did you solve those problems?

Thanks
Philip
